Strategic Advice

EP’s team works intimately on strategic development with those partner firms who look to us as a valued strategic resource. With a dedicated Managing Director of Strategic Development whose primary role is to partner with firms on their key initiatives, EP employs a partnership approach to the development and execution of business initiatives that touch on many areas of the organization, including Advisors, Investments, Operations, Finance, Talent Development, Marketing, Compliance, and Technology.

M&A Support

With backgrounds in finance, corporate and M&A law, investment banking, private equity, and strategy, the EP team has extensive experience to provide guidance and support to our partner firms looking to execute M&A. In aggregate, the EP team has worked on over one hundred transactions. Our involvement can include: sourcing of merger, acquisition, and lift-out candidates; leading due diligence processes; valuation, transaction structuring, and financial modeling; work with the firm’s outside counsel in drafting and negotiating of legal documentation; and integration advisory support. We tailor our level of involvement in M&A processes to the needs and desires of the partner firm and we are equipped to scale our involvement up or down as needs change throughout the deal lifecycle.
